Rallytop's Suzuki Samurai hard top installation
Seal Replacement on Fiberglass Hardtops:
These Suzuki Samurais are like Tinker Toys. They are strong, simple and seem to be
indestructible. Since we are coming up on the 20 year anniversary, we thought you
might want to freshen up the Suzuki Samurai body seals.
| 1. Remove canvas soft top | 2. Remove rear bow screws | ||
| 3. Remove rear bow | 4. Remove soft top retainer strips | ||
| 5. Remove rear assist handles | 6. Remove soft top retainer on top of windshield | ||
| 7. Install weather strip | 8. Install weather strip above door jam | ||

10. Add curved weather strip |

11. Apply silicone below curved weatherstrip | ![]() |
12. Apply silicone at rear door jam |

13. Apply silicone to corner around weartherstrip | ![]() |
14. Install latch hooks in factory holes in the windsheild frame |

15. Using the screws from the assist handles | ![]() |
16. Pull back panel of rear quarter, to allow for installation of clip |

17. Remove the second retainer clip from the tail gate. | ![]() |
18. Using a phillips screwdriver, punch a hole inline with the hole in the metal frame |

19. Install the supplied nut and bolt and snap panel back into place | ![]() |
20. Install the hardtop |

21. Have a second person push down on the roof | ![]() |
22. Push down on the roof while tightening assist handle bolts |

23. Close and lock rear cam-loc into place | ![]() |
24. Adjust cam-loc |
