    Our hardtops are painted with a single stage UV resistant paint. Black is our standard color. White and Tan are optional at an additional charge.

    The inside of our tops are finished in a mildew resistant gray carpet. This not only looks great, but it helps keep the road noise out.

    Our use of “Weather Guard” drastically cuts the interior noise level. You can carry on a conversation without raising your voice. Your sound systems will sound better.

  • Weather Insulated
    Our use of “Weather Guard” also insulates the interior from the outside elements. Your air conditioners and heaters will be much more efficient.

  • Rear Hatch Opens with Dual Gas Struts
    Your rear hatch will come up with a flick of the wrist, by extra strong gas props. They are guaranteed to keep your rear hatch up, even during off-roading.

Your Rally Tops hardtop will come with all the necessary parts to complete your installation. To safely lift and install this hardtop, you will need the assistance of at least one other person.

Follow the instructions and perform the steps in the sequence given. Short cuts to the directions may result in an unsatisfactory installation.

75-pound load capacity (evenly distributed on crossbar assemblies). WARNING: This product is not recommended for carrying Kayaks, Canoes, Jon Boats, or any other large, bulky, or extremely long items.

Brake Light

The brake light is a surface mounted LED light. It comes with splices and hardware to install. If you are not familiar with auto circuitry, it is advisable to consult with a professional for installation.

Battery operated LED light. Four times the light output of an incandescent battery light. No bulbs to replace and the batteries that last longer. Three powerful LEDs deliver 51 lumens of light and can run for days on one nine volt battery. (Battery not included)

In 1976, as America celebrated its 200th Birthday, and the Jeep vehicle its 35th Birthday, American Motors Corporation introduced the 7th generation of the civillian Jeep, the CJ-7.

For the first time, the CJ-7 offered an optional molded plastic top and steel doors. This Jeep was a big hit, and many people bought one for off roading, open air cruising, and just for the coolness factor.

These are oversized items and require non-standard delivery services. Shipping rates are subject to review. Freight cost are additional. Your hardtop will be shipped via a common carrier. After your top is shipped, we will contact you with a tracking number and the carrier’s name. The shipping company will contact you with a date and time for the delivery. At this time you can ask for additional services, such as lift gate service or inside delivery. These services are not covered by your prepaid freight charge. In other words, they cost extra and you will have to pay for them. Somebody needs to be present when your top arrives. You should have another person present to help you and the driver unload the top from the truck. You must inspect the top for damage, before you sign for it. You are signing that you received the top in good condition. So, it’s very important to open the box up, take your time to look inside and if it’s in good condition, sign for it. If the top is damaged, don’t sign for it. Refuse the shipment and call us at (800) 664-8677.

    The replacement hardtop was a bit of a challenge to massage into place to get stock doors to close requiring some trimming/filing of the top–but an overwhelming improvement of the 37yr old stock top.
    Of note, once installed there was a rattle in the first 50 miles from the back window….simple enough to tighten the bolts to grip the glass. Except, that as soon as any force was placed on the nut, the back window shattered. A call to Rally Tops was quickly returned, and the gentleman agreed to send me a replacement window. I sent the following email on June 24:
    Good morning sir,
    Following up on our phone conversation regarding replacement rear glass that shattered when attempting to tighten the nut/hardware.

    Thank you very much for standing behind your product!

    It’s now December, and time to put the top back on…without a window.
