This is the first hard top I have bought for my 99 jeep. I am so pleased with the purchase. The package was very well done and received in perfect shape. I’m an in shape 6’2″ male who is handy with tools and the install was a piece of cake. The back half went on first which I lifted by myself and was able to walk in on the top with ease. Then set the front half on and tighten a few hand nuts then install some bolts- Done. In less than 45 mins max from open box to done. I must say that having this top is like a new jeep. WOW!! It looks great. My wife loved that the side and back glass was tinted. Very impressed with this top. Took it for a test drive in 35 degree weather and had to turn down the heat, it is a solid top for sound control also. I highly recommend this top.

Great Top! Installation was not at all complicated but definitely required 2 people to install. The 2 piece model also makes for easy removal of the front part to act as a sun roof on warm days. Haven’t had any problems with sealing or leakage, also much more quiet than my prior soft top. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered this top for my sons 2002 TJ. The top arrived about a week early and was packaged very well. We were replacing a worn out soft top. The fit was excellent, instructions were very clear. Time to install was less than an hour including soft top removal, removing the new top from the crate and installing it onto the jeep. The difference in road noise is amazing. Overall very good product.

Shell and windows are very nice, but the locking hardware is mid-grade. They will work fine, but doesn’t feel premium. Also the left-side front window bracket wasn’t drilled / mounted properly so it is at a 5 degree angle and doesn’t line up with the receiving hole on the jeep window-frame (we have to crank the hook very hard to the side to get it to line up, likely causing stress on the connection). They should use a jig so the their hardware drilling and mounting would be accurate. Also for this price, why not use quick-lock bolts? It would cost them about $5 to include these. Other than that, beautiful!

Great quality! Install was easy and only took about two hours. The shipping crate had a small amount of damage, however, it wasn’t anything major considering it traveled from California to Maryland. There was a small scratch in the center of the top but it can’t be seen when it’s on the Jeep. The only thing I wish this had was a rear window defrost but, overall I’m very pleased with this purchase! I would definitely recommend Rally Tops and Extreme Terrain to other Jeep owners!!

Hard top was delivered in a protective wood crate hardtop was wrapped and packed very nicely. Being a two piece hardtop it doable for one person to put on by self but be careful because it on be a bit difficult carrying it over your head trying to balance you wouldn’t want to drop. Overall I’m very happy with hardtop it’s very quiet inside when driving plus the windows are cool very big and tinted I love taking the front top off and leave the back on, cause you get so much openness just with that.

Item came to me damaged had multiple small hairline cracks, some of which were structural after 6 weeks of waiting. Delivery driver would no unload unless I signed for product. Wasn’t able to inspect product before signing.

I ordered this top as a replacement for a one-piece, factory hard top in the hope of it being easier to take off with only one or two people. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the top itself. It looks great, is insulated well, and is MUCH easier to install than a one-piece top. Although it’s a bit pricey, I think the top is definitely worth it. However, the product took an extremely long time to ship to me, so be aware that you may have to wait close to two months.

I was expecting less from an aftermarket parts manufacturer. I extremely happy with the fit, finish, and attention to the small details. I live in middle Georgia, we have rain for just about anything hour every evening and if there is any place that this top would leak it would be here. The top is dry, quiet, helps the air conditioning work better. I love the over all look of the top and the convenience of the removable section I would give it six stars but it was not an option! I have been modifing my recently purchased 2005 Wrangler Rubicon TJ and out of all the changes I have made this top has made the most difference. I have a six inch long arm lift, with 35″ tires on 18″ wheels, body armor, custom bumpers, winch, racing seats with five point harnesses, on and on. But it had this awful ragtop on it that just made it look horrible, no to mention that my butt and feet got wet every time it rained. I have purchased and be installed this two piece top and could not be more pleased. Now my electronics are dry, my carpet doesn’t stink, my butt stays dry, no more wind noise, air and heat work better, the list goes on. My Jeep now has the look I am going for too.

I purchased a two piece Rally Top for my 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I could not be happier. The top is beautiful and the ride is quieter. I have had numerous compliments on the Rally top and, of course, I recommend Extreme Terrain to those interested. I had two friends, who are Jeep owners, install the hard top and it only took them about an hour. They kept commenting on the quality of the top. Don’t hesitate! Buy a Rally Top!!!

This top took a little longer than I expected to come in. But if I tell you it was well worth the wait. Installing is far sure a two person job. It give my 2005 Jeep TJ a whole new look. After installing I washed it to check for leaks. None were found. Took it down the road to check for air leaks. No air leaks. This two piece was well worth the money I spent on it. It also increased the value of my TJ. It also help on my ac not working as hard. I’m sure winter with the heater on I want have to worry about the top sweating because of how it is well insulated. Im very satisfied with this top. I would definitely recommend this top.

I love the look of this hard top and have had it for about a month but I keep getting leaks and I don’t know where they are coming from. What are some tips you guys have to help stop the leakage. Overall makes the car a lot quieter and more appealing but its just annoying to have water leaks.

I started with a Samurai in 92, a Sahara in 99 and my Rubi in 04, I have had countless soft tops and rear windows/zippers replacements over the years. So i am pretty much done with soft tops. I started researching for a hard top a little over a year ago. I happen to live close to the Rally Tops factory. Really nice folks. I got a quick tour of the factory and was shown how they make the tops to order. The weight is around 138 lbs. I love the rear window closer. Its similar to factory, it closes inside as to not need additional keys. The entire inside is lined with a heavy duty mildew resistant carpet. I can now have a normal conversation without shouting. People on the other end of the line can’t tell i am even moving. It really doesnt take long to install but you will need a couple of friends to get it lined up properly.

Once I got it placed properly on the tub, it fit great. Sound inside the cab is very quite and it looks great. Its a nice option when the weather is not sure what it wants to do. It takes a couple of minuets to remove the front section and go. Love it!

When I ordered the top website said “deliver to your door in 2 – 4 weeks” it took over 8 weeks to get to my door. If you need in a time-frame, I would call before placing the order. Top looks good and functions well, but took several times to fit properly. The major problem was the front driver side hole was off by about 1/4 inch(I am assuming my jeep body was not out of alignment). After enlarging the hole the top fit.

My new top arrived in great shape, fits really well and looks cool. I like the feeling of openness that the provides. It only took about half an hour for the two of us to install. Less than five minutes to take the front panel off today to enjoy the fresh air and sun. Thank you extremeterrain !

This isn’t a review, but a question. Can the 3 rear windows on the Jeep hardtop be easily removed? For example, I’d like to take them out for summer and replace them for winter.
