RALLY TOPS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
General Safety Information:
Instructions:
Follow the instructions and perform the steps in the sequence given. Shortcuts to the directions may result in an unsatisfactory installation.
A. REAR SECTION:
1. Remove soft side & back windows.
2. Remove black plastic trim from perimeter.
3. Remove screws with a phillips screwdriver.
4. Remove screws with a phillips screwdriver.
5. Remove screws with a phillips screwdriver.
6. Remove perimeter brackets with a phillips screwdriver.
7. Remove perimeter bracket with phillips screwdriver.
8. Remove perimeter bracket with a phillips screwdriver.
9. Perimeter with brackets removed. 1989-1994 will have a gasket already installed. 1995-1998 requires installation of enclosed gasket.
10. You can put the screws back in the upright brackets.
11. Remove hoop bracket attach screws with a phillips screwdriver.
12. Remove hoop attach bracket with a phillips screwdriver.
13. Perimeter is ready for perimeter seal. Start the seal about 8 inches from the rear of the perimeter. (1995-1998 models only)
14. Run allen head screws in about 1 inch into the factory nut plates to clean the threads and remove.
15. If the screws don’t line up with the top on. Adjust by bending nut plates with the screws inserted.
16. Screw with washer installed.

B. FRONT SECTION:
1. Remove front bracket.
2. Remove front bracket.
3. Pull edge trim down and install cam-lock hook. Open cam-lock and rotate catch, if its hard to close.
